Tradition will be just what our motto says — we will "honor the past, and embrace the future" and redefine the meaning of the word 'community.' Tradition will borrow the great and enduring principles of great, small Southern towns from their architecture to the sense of place each resident and visitor enjoys. We will offer all the essentials of daily life – recreation, shopping, professional and financial services, education and entertainment – within a short, comfortable walk from every home. Our goal is to create a community that not only enhances the quality of life for people today, but also ensure that the needs of future generations can be met. As a native of Mississippi and former chairman of the Urban Land Institute, my dream has always been to make a visible difference. And while I have been blessed over my career with business successes, the legacy I wish to leave in my hometown of Biloxi is the creation of a world-class master planned community. A community rooted in sustainable development at all levels — economically, socially, and environmentally. A hometown that embraces all the things I loved, and learned, while as a child and teenager in the quiet streets of downtown Biloxi.
