William Carey University is building bigger and better with its new Gulf Coast campus located in Tradition's Town Center. Opening in Fall 2009 with 750 students, this new campus will replace the one destroyed along Gulfport's beachfront by Hurricane Katrina. The new 50-acre campus will house administrative, faculty, and registrar offices, a large open air student lounge, bookstore, large library and computer lab. It will feature a state-of-the-art nursing school, with lecture, lab, and exam rooms; psychiatric study, exam, and treatment rooms; along with over 30 general classrooms and science labs.
William Carey University's Tradition campus will add higher education offerings to the community beginning in Fall 2009 with undergraduate and master degree programs in the liberal arts, business, communications, education, science, psychology, nursing, religion, theatre, graphic arts, and music.
William Carey University officials plan to grow the Tradition Campus to 3,000 students in ten years, with student housing available onsite for full-time students.
