We believe in lifelong learning at Tradition, and thus, want to offer opportunities to learn and grow for all ages. Starting with St. Patrick Catholic High School, students in grades 7-12 come together to learn in this $20 million state-of-the-art facility that opened in August 2007 . William Carey University's Tradition campus will add higher education offerings to the community beginning in Fall 2009 with undergraduate and master degree programs in the liberal arts, business, communications, education, science, psychology, nursing, religion, theatre, graphic arts, and music.
Since a quality education begins at home, we will develop neighborhood elementary schools, preschools, and day care programs as the community's population grows. In addition, the Tradition Discovery Center will be donated to the Harrison County Library System and converted to a neighborhood library as the Tradition staff moves into its offices in the Village Center.
The presence of these educational facilities will be an important component as we grow Tradition into a major regional center for jobs, especially those in the fields of research and development, drawing from the community's collective "brain power" and facilities.
