Arts & Culture
An emphasis on the arts and culture…
Our founder, Joseph C. Canizaro, has been a patron of the arts and avid collector for many years. His goal for Tradition is to showcase works of art and sculptures of all types and sizes. In fact, our first pieces of sculpture on display are from his personal collection.
Tradition's commitment to art and culture extends to include regular seminars, lectures and performances. Local artists are invited to showcase their work in the Tradition Discovery Center, and the Village Institute will partner with local schools like St. Patrick Catholic High School and the art department at William Carey University on various projects.
The Village Institute – Tradition’s citizen organization for community enrichment and education. The Village Institute is a non-profit organization and is funded through donations, grants and a small percentage of the resale of each property. The Village Homeowners Association focuses on continuous upkeep and maintenance of the community, enabling the Village Institute to plan future events and activities for everyone to enjoy.
